I almost got burned BIG TIME, like this:
on Facebook, there was this ‘ad’ about giving guitars away ‘for free’, “only requiring a $39.00 shipping charge, on your credit card” ……..Being that I am a guitar player, I thought ‘Ok, then’. BIG mistake, that was.
As SOON as I gave them my card # and it went through, that website disappeared completely from Facebook, leaving me to do 2 things immediately:
